Job Overview
We are seeking multiple motivated and enthusiastic Canvasser's to join our team at LeafFilter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with the community to promote our gutter protection system and problem solve issues with homeowners. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to achieve our sales goals but also the individuals goals. As the title hints, this is a door to door role meaning rain or shine, hot or cold we will be out in the elements engaging with homeowners. - Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage potential homeowners in the Houston area.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to present information clearly and persuasively to the homeowner.
- Build rapport with homeowners and address their questions or concerns regarding our product and services
- Collaborate with team members to strategize canvassing routes and improve engagement techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and report back on progress regularly.
Skills
- Strong marketing skills to effectively promote initiatives and engage the public.
- Excellent customer service abilities to foster positive interactions with community members.
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing or similar outreach methods is highly desirable.
- Proven sales skills that demonstrate the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing communication with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with canvassing techniques, including negotiation skills for effective engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for clear messaging.
Requirements
- Must have a vehicle! Our territory is way to large to rely on Houstons public transportation.
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time. Like it said above, rain or shine, hot or cold we are out knocking these doors!
