DT-Trak is recruiting Registered Respiratory Therapists to support a critical staffing need at Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), a Navajo Area Indian Health Service facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential respiratory care to American Indian and Alaska Native patients across the lifespan — neonatal through geriatric — in a rural, mission-driven hospital environment.

Pay rate reflects current New Mexico RT market wage benchmarks. Overtime is paid for hours worked beyond 40/week in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. Per diem eligibility, professional liability coverage, and final offer terms are confirmed prior to start.
Assignment Details
· Facility: Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), 516 E. Nizhoni Boulevard, Gallup, NM 87301
· Unit(s): Medical/Surgical, Outpatient, Emergency/Trauma, Pediatrics, Newborn Nursery, ICU, Women's Health/L&D
· Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week; rotating 8-, 10-, and 12-hour tours; days, nights, weekends, and federal holidays as scheduled
· Assignment length: 6-month base assignment with potential extension up to 24 months total
· Start: Available to report within 7–10 business days of clearance (around 4 weeks)
Requirements
· Current, unrestricted Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
· Minimum 1 year recent acute-care Respiratory Therapy experience (adult ICU/ventilator management, ED/trauma, pediatrics)
· Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required; NRP strongly preferred
· Successful completion of background investigation, immunization/health screening, and facility credentialing
· Comfortable working in a rural, medically underserved, culturally diverse setting
What We Offer
· $40.00/hour taxable base pay, above-market for the New Mexico RT labor market
· ~$2,846.00/week total gross package at a standard 40-hour schedule (taxable wages + per diem)
