Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and testing various electronic and mechanical components using a range of hand tools, light power tools, hardware, and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic prototyping assembly and manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities -Assemble components following technical drawings and work instructions. -Use hand, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks. -Assemble mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical systems.
-Ensure products meet quality standards.
-Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
-Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
-Candidates may perform small-scale, intricate work or medium-scale heavy work.
-Will be required regularly to lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Skills - Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and wiring.
-Experience in assembly of precision systems for defense and aerospace systems. - Strong attention to detail and quality standards - Ability to work independently with some supervision and as part of a team
-Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas and data to a group.
