This role will be filled by either two 10 hour positions or one 20 hour position. Looking for part-time Master's or Doctorate level research or instruction assistant for the University Library by summer or fall 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, professional informational and research assistance in multiple formats: in-person, telephone, email, live chat, etc.
- Add reference transactions to the analytics database
- Assist with the preparation of reports as needed
- other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear, effective manner
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with a team, demonstrating awareness of each of the library's departmental responsibilities
- Self-motivated to complete a work schedule and tasks with limited supervision
- Must be able to work effectively and responsibly with library patrons in a public service environment and to serve a variety of people

Salary: $12.77 - $15.00 per hour
