Parts Coordinator Job Description
Summary of Purpose:
The Parts Coordinator manages the parts room and distribution of parts. The Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly parts room. The perfect candidate is a highly organized team player with the ability to multi-task, coordinating with shop staff and managers to achieve efficient results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Order parts and supplies and maintain accurate records.
Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders) and follow up as necessary.
Assist with distribution of parts to shop staff.
Maintain the parts room in a clean and professional manner.
Receive parts orders, return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts.
Collect payments from customers and process all invoices and paperwork daily.
Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Look up parts requested using both electronic and paper parts catalogs.
Ship parts from online orders.
Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
Practice safe work habits and use personal protective equipment as required.
Performs other duties as assigned

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Superior customer service, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of new, used and aftermarket tractor parts & implements.
Knowledge of Wisconsin DNR Hazardous Waste requirements.
Solid computer and exceptional phone skills.
Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
Ability to lift heavy products/parts.
Experience:
2 years' previous inventory control or parts management experience preferred.
Previous experience ordering machinery parts preferred
Minimum Education/Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Equipment Used:
Basic office equipment, laptop computer, multi-function printer, and phone.
Physical Demands:
Physical activity such as walking, standing, carrying, reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, as well as lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds is a part of daily activity.
Environment:
Work around moving objects or vehicles; fumes, solvents, grease and oil. May work under conditions of inclement weather.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
