Moses Jewelers is seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our in-house workshop. Under the direction of our Head Jewelers, you'll work with fine jewelry, custom pieces, repairs, and restorations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented craftsman who takes pride in quality, precision, and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities (Include but Are Not Limited To):
- Ring Sizing (up and down, all metals)
- Chain & Clasp Repair
- Soldering – Silver, Gold, and Platinum
- Shank Repair & Prong Retipping
- Stone Setting (prong, bezel, channel – preferred but not required for entry-level)
- Rough Casting Pre-Polish & Finishing
- Cleaning & Polishing
- Plating (Rhodium/Gold)
- Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean, organized workbench
Requirements:
- Previous bench jeweler or fine jewelry repair experience required
- Proficiency with torch work, soldering, and polishing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with senior jewelers
- Punctual, professional, and reliable
- Stone setting experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate in advanced techniques.
