As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residential spaces, ensuring sanitation protocols are followed, and providing exceptional service to enhance the overall experience for everyone you serve.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and specialized floor care techniques.
- Handle manual lifting and outdoor work as needed when moving furniture or cleaning exterior areas.
- Communicate effectively with residents or clients regarding their cleaning preferences and special requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work with knowledge of cleaning surfaces and equipment.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involved in housekeeping duties.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer service orientation with good communication skills for client interaction and feedback.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or balconies.
- Basic knowledge of cooking is beneficial for supporting residents’ needs beyond housekeeping duties.
- Previous experience in housekeeper management or residential housekeeping roles is advantageous.
