Responsibilities
- Safely operate a yellow cab vehicle to transport passengers across South Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas
- Greet customers warmly, assist with boarding, and ensure passenger comfort during trips
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a secure driving environment
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, providing timely and reliable service
- Collect fares accurately and issue receipts as needed, adhering to company policies
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers, handling inquiries or special requests with enthusiasm
- Lease a yellow cab which is $350 per week flat rate.
- Must keep vehicle clean at all times and clean hygiene is a must
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Must be 25 years of age or older
- Must pass drug test/ alcohol test.
- Must obtain business license with city of south lake tahoe
- Must pass livescan/ doj background check with south lake tahoe police department
- Strong driving skills with knowledge of local traffic laws and safety procedures
- Ability to provide excellent customer service with an energetic and positive attitude
- Must be able to operate a vehicle for extended periods and handle various weather conditions
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS technology or traditional maps
