**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
**Duration:** Approximately 6 months
**Position Overview:** Join a dynamic pediatric practice that encompasses the comprehensive scope of outpatient pediatric healthcare. In this supportive and collaborative environment, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, with an emphasis on fostering health through preventive measures, early identification, and family-centered education.
**Patient Volume:** Expected to manage an average of 18-22 patients daily.
**Work Schedule:** Five days a week (Monday to Friday); schedule is non-negotiable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver thorough pediatric healthcare including well-child examinations, neonatal assessments, immunization protocols, and routine health maintenance.
- Accurately diagnose and treat acute ailments, injuries, and chronic pediatric disorders.
- Assess and track growth and developmental milestones, proactively addressing concerns and implementing timely interventions.
- Administer preventive healthcare, conduct health screenings, and provide anticipatory guidance tailored to age-specific needs.
- Educate parents and caregivers on various facets of pediatric health, encompassing nutrition, safety, developmental progress, behavioral health, and disease prevention.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic evaluations to formulate personalized treatment strategies.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in alignment with evidence-based pediatric practices.
- Facilitate coordinated care involving specialists, therapists, educational institutions, and community services to ensure comprehensive, family-centered healthcare delivery.
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to enhance patient experience and maintain continuity of care.
- Ensure timely and precise documentation adheres to Medical Staff Bylaws and organizational directives.
**Qualifications:** Physician candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatrics.
**Licensure Requirements:** Preference for candidates with a New Hampshire license; candidates without a NH license or IMLCC must secure a locum license in addition to a permanent NH license.
