Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fixture Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fixtures, cabinetry, and building materials across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that installations meet precise specifications, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the overall quality of our construction projects. Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately install fixtures such as cabinets, tile, gutters, and other building materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform installations, including tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and gutter installation.
- Measure dimensions precisely with tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment according to project specifications.
- Follow blueprint specifications and construction plans meticulously during installation processes.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards are met throughout each phase of fixture installation.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address any onsite challenges promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on all construction sites.
Skills
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Extensive experience with fixture installation including cabinetry, tile masonry, plastering, caulking, stucco work, and gutter systems.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment safely.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and their proper installation techniques.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for precise fitting of fixtures.
- Construction site experience with a focus on remodeling projects or new builds.
- Familiarity with construction management principles, estimating processes, and inspection procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
