We specialize in water damage, flood restoration, mold remediation, and emergency disaster recovery services throughout Riverside, OC and San Diego counties. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to help keep our financial operations running smoothly.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper or accounting professional looking for flexible, meaningful work with a stable and growing local business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable: vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts receivable: invoicing clients, payment follow-up, collections, and aging reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in QuickBooks (or similar software)
- Assist with job costing and insurance billing documentation
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management
- Support the owner with other administrative accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in construction, restoration, or service-based industries is a big plus
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Must be comfortable working in a small business environment
