We are seeking a highly skilled CAD/3D Designer to join our team in West Columbia SC.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings, schematics, and system designs. Specializing in custom cabinets, casework, countertops, nursing and reception stations.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics using software.
- Proficient with CabinetVision
- Create designs and layouts aligned with project specifications and client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with ASME codes & standards.
- Support construction teams by providing detailed drawings necessary for fabrication and installation.
- Maintain version control of CAD files and ensure adherence to drafting standards.
- Engage in technical writing to produce clear documentation supporting design intent and system specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer
- Proficiency with CabinetVision
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts including schematics, assembly processes, and system design.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and create detailed schematics aligned with project requirements.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
