Summary:
This position is responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. The role involves using precision measuring instruments, reviewing blueprints, documenting inspection results, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Candidates must be available to work 2nd Shift (4:15 PM – 2:15 AM, Monday–Friday) with flexibility for overtime as needed. The pay range is $19.17–$22.53 per hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential.
Job Requirements:
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect, test, and measure products using calipers, gauges, micrometers, CMMs, and other measuring equipment.
- Perform gauge calibrations, maintain calibration records, and document inspection results.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a related quality control role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, testing methods, and inspection equipment.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office; quality certifications such as ISO 9000 or AS9100 are a plus.
