High Hopes Children's Therapy is a growing, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice serving children and families throughout North Atlanta. Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for overseeing the health of the revenue cycle across all High Hopes Children's Therapy locations. This position serves as the internal liaison between our clinics and our outsourced billing partner, ensuring claims move efficiently through the reimbursement process while maintaining accurate patient accounts and maximizing collections.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating issues, improving processes, analyzing data, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will work closely with our Operations Manager, Administrative Leadership, CEO, and outsourced billing team to improve cash flow, reduce outstanding balances, and ensure our revenue cycle operates efficiently.
This position is based in our Alpharetta office and supports all clinic locations.
What You'll Do:
Patient Accounts
- Manage patient account balances following insurance processing.
- Contact families by phone, email, and written correspondence regarding outstanding balances.
- Answer patient billing questions with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service.
- Establish payment arrangements when appropriate.
- Audit patient ledgers to ensure account accuracy.
- Assist with transferring patient balances from our previous EMR (Fusion) into Prompt.
Revenue Cycle Oversight
- Monitor outstanding insurance claims throughout the revenue cycle.
- Review aging reports and identify claims requiring follow-up.
- Track unresolved claims, denials, and appeals.
- Ensure our outsourced billing partner is working claims within expected timelines.
- Communicate with the billing team regarding outstanding issues and monitor progress toward resolution.
- Escalate unresolved concerns to leadership.
- Assist with denied claims and appeals as needed, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility over time.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and monitor reports related to:
- Insurance Accounts Receivable
- Patient Accounts Receivable
- Aging Reports
- Outstanding Claims
- Denial Trends
- Collection Activity
- Revenue Cycle Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identify trends affecting reimbursement, collections, and cash flow.
- Recommend workflow improvements that increase efficiency and maximize collections.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance.
- Monitor payer turnaround times and reimbursement trends.
- Help develop scalable systems to support company growth.
- Participate in special projects related to billing, collections, and financial operations.
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, patient accounts, healthcare finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of medical insurance claims and reimbursement processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, particularly when discussing financial matters with patients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software.
Preferred
- Pediatric therapy or rehabilitation billing experience.
- Experience working with commercial insurance and Medicaid.
- Experience with insurance denials and appeals.
- Experience using Prompt, Fusion, or another healthcare EMR.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and payer authorization requirements.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $68,000–$82,000 annually, based on experience
