Overview
ThermoVerra is an emerging leader in data center infrastructure, specializing in the deployment of advanced liquid cooling systems for AI, high-performance computing, and high-density data center environments. We deploy direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid cooling technologies to deliver greater performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
We’re seeking a Senior Liquid Cooling Specialist with proven design and installation expertise to take a lead role in delivering high-quality cooling solutions for mission-critical environments. This is more than a job — it’s a chance to lead the buildout of a high-growth company from day one. You’ll be among the first team members and have a direct hand in shaping how we work, who we hire, and where we go.
Key Responsibilities
System Design Input & Planning
- Review site conditions, technical specs, and client requirements to help design liquid cooling system layouts.
- Collaborate with OEMs to finalize installation plans and equipment selections.
- Develop installation workflows, tool lists, and commissioning plans.
Installation & Commissioning
- Install liquid cooling systems (direct-to-chip, immersion, rear-door heat exchangers) in new and retrofit data center environments.
- Connect and test cooling loops, pumps, manifolds, and heat exchange units.
- Execute system testing, flushing, leak detection, and thermal performance verification.
Customer & Vendor Interface
- Act as the technical lead, representing ThermoVerra to clients and OEMs.
- Coordinate with facility managers, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on deployed systems.
- Diagnose and resolve leaks, pump issues, and thermal inefficiencies.
- Replace and service fluid and components according to manufacturer and internal schedules.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience installing or servicing liquid cooling systems in data centers, HPC facilities, or related environments — or equivalent mechanical/HVAC experience with closed loop or chilled water systems.
- Exposure to data center cooling technologies such as CDUs, direct-to-chip cooling, or immersion systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Proven track record leading onsite installations from planning through commissioning.
- Strong focus on precision and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- As our leader in Arizona, an Arizona C-39 contractor license is preferred. For those without a license, you can qualify for it through your trade experience, and we will cover the preparation and costs of the application in the first 90 days.
