Nannies and more…® International is currently assisting an exceptional professional family in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, Georgia, in their search for an experienced Career Nanny/Family Assistant. The family is seeking a highly dependable, warm, organized, and proactive professional who is looking for a long-term home and career. Their hope is to find someone who desires a commitment of five years or longer and who genuinely enjoys becoming a valued and trusted extension of the family.
The family is open to considering both live-in and live-out candidates. They are seeking someone who can begin as soon as possible.
This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who naturally enjoys creating order, supporting a busy executive household, and bringing calm, consistency, and thoughtful assistance into everyday family life. The mother often describes her ideal candidate as someone with a wonderful “housewife mentality”—someone who genuinely enjoys caring for the home, supporting the family, anticipating needs, and taking pride in helping a household run beautifully.
The family consists of two school-age children, ages 13 and 9, who are active, respectful, and involved in extracurricular activities. While childcare remains an important part of the position, this role is equally focused on providing exceptional family and household support.
One of the qualities that makes this family especially unique is their appreciation for long-term relationships. Many of their household employees have remained with them for 10 years or longer, reflecting the mutual respect, appreciation, and positive work environment they strive to provide.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Flexibility appreciated as family schedules occasionally change
- Some travel and occasional overnight assistance may be requested, with travel and overnight compensation negotiable
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate enjoys staying busy and takes pride in supporting a family’s daily routines.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, engaging, age-appropriate care for two school-age children
- Safely transporting the children to and from school, activities, appointments, and events
- Helping maintain daily routines and schedules
- Preparing nutritious family meals and assisting with meal planning
- Family laundry and maintaining organized laundry systems
- Organizing closets, pantries, children’s spaces, and household areas
- Tidying and maintaining an orderly home environment
- Running occasional household errands
- Assisting with calendar coordination and family logistics
- Helping prepare for travel and unpacking upon return
- Providing dependable support while parents travel when needed
- Working collaboratively with the family to anticipate household needs
- Being a positive, calming, and dependable presence within the home

Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 5 years of professional full-time experience as a Career Nanny, Family Assistant, Household Assistant, or similar private-service role
- Outstanding professional references
- Clean criminal background
- Excellent driving record
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
