Our client, a large-scale manufacturing and distribution facility, is looking to hire an Assembler - Mattress Builder for their location in Puyallup, WA. Responsibilities for this role include assembling mattresses in accordance with established work instructions. The right candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable with physically demanding work. This opportunity is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who is ready to stay active throughout the shift.
The Day-to-Day:
- Assemble mattresses according to established work instructions
- Use pneumatic tools, including staple guns, to secure mattress materials
- Lift, move, and position mattresses and raw materials throughout the work area
- Prepare and organize components needed for final assembly
- Restock raw materials at the point of use
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous experience using pneumatic tools preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Must be able to lift heavy products or raw materials weighing up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour
- Must be comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout an 8-hour shift or longer during overtime situations
Pay Rate:
- $18.00 to $18.25 per hour
Schedule:
Available shift options:
- 6:00 AM start time, working until production is complete, typically 8 to 10 hours
- 4:30 PM start time, working until production is complete, typically 8 to 10 hours
- Some Saturday work
Pay: $18.00 - $18.25 per hour
