HVAC New Construction Installer
Optimal Air Solutions Residential New Construction division is growing quickly, and we are looking to bring on motivated individuals to help the team continue to succeed. The ideal candidate with be thorough and detail oriented; familiar with the HVAC installation process of new builds; be able or easily learn to to read plans; communicate well with the office staff both written and verbally.
Primary job functions:
- Work with new construction leads to complete installations, start ups, punch out items, quality walks, fill out required forms, and other designated tasks
- Assist with install of condensing units and start up equipment.
- Assist with punch out items and inspection corrections.
- Communicate with builders about any issues or questions while on site as directed.
- Show initative to learn how to perform repairs and warranty calls as requested as needed.
- Work with leads to fill out out required paperwork for job walks and provide detailed information about each call completed so office staff can update builders on progress.
Work hours: Full-time, 40+ hours per week plus weekend overtime as required
Compensation: Hourly range $15-19/hr based on experience.

Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- Proficient speaking and writing in English
- Self motivated, positive, team player, and detail orientated.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- EPA/TDLR Certified
- Ability to work overtime on nights and weekends
- Ability to stand, bend, crawl for extended periods of time in different weather conditions
Preferred qualifications:
- Spanish speaker
- Residential new construction experience
- Troubleshooting experience
