SUMMARY
The Warehouse Inventory Associate supports the movement and accuracy of inventory within the warehouse to ensure timely distribution of the tastiest candies in the world to customers and distributors across our network. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure accurate inventory tracking, pallet verification, and proper documentation for finished goods and materials entering or leaving the warehouse. This role works closely with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to verify pallet quantities, labeling, and specifications while maintaining accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accepts responsibility for ensuring that all pallets entering or leaving the warehouse are accurately verified and recorded.
- Verifies finished goods pallets against work orders, shipping documentation, and labeling requirements prior to storage or shipment.
- Ensures accurate inventory levels by capturing and recording material movements, adjustments, and returns within the ERP system.
- Accurately enters and maintains inventory data in the ERP/MRP system for finished goods and materials handled during the assigned shift.
- Investigates and reports discrepancies between system records and physical inventory, working with appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Prints and applies correct shipping labels, pallet tags, and documentation as required for warehouse storage and shipment.
- Utilizes computer systems to maintain and update inventory and warehouse activity reports.
- Coordinates and communicates effectively with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to support operational goals.
- Supports warehouse organization and inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and proper product rotation.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork while helping ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Adheres to all applicable housekeeping, safety, SQF, and GMP practices while performing job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office required; ERP/WMS experience preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills required for inventory verification and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing and walking for extended periods.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this role.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Performs basic database updates, queries and searches, and printing of labels.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate with co-workers and/or read instructions or written standards for production in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform or learn basic mathematic skills as needed, such as production yield.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or limited variables.

This role must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Utilizing a powered industrial lift, the ability to move and maneuver finished goods pallets as needed.
