Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electrical QA/QC Technicians for a long-term project in Austin, TX!
Electrical QA/QC Technician Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical QA/QC, Commissioning, or Electrical Inspection experience
- Experience on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical projects preferred
- Perform inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards
- Review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, submittals, and installation details
- Verify installation quality of conduit systems, cable tray, terminations, grounding, panels, switchgear, and low-voltage systems
- Assist with commissioning activities including pre-functional inspections, system verification, and turnover documentation
- Identify, document, and track deficiencies through completion and closeout
- Coordinate with field supervision, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Generate inspection reports, punch lists, and quality documentation
- Maintain a strong commitment to site safety and proper electrical work practices
- Ability to work in active construction environments and perform field inspections throughout the project site
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, industry standards, and QA/QC procedures
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required
- Must be able to pass all site-specific onboarding requirements
- Must be able to work overtime as required
