Responsibilities

Experience
- Prior experience working with children in school settings or early intervention programs is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatrics, including typical developmental milestones and common speech-language disorders.
- Strong understanding of physiology related to speech production, swallowing mechanisms, and related anatomy.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children of varying ages and their families while demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and medical professionals is advantageous.
