Part-Time Nanny Needed in Collingswood, NJ
We are seeking a dependable, nurturing, and experienced part-time nanny to care for our child in our home in Collingswood, New Jersey.
Our family values kindness, honesty, patience, respect, and a warm, family-centered environment. Christian faith and traditions are part of our family life, so we would especially value someone with a Christian background or familiarity with Christian family life. The right candidate will be comfortable supporting our household routines, respecting our beliefs, and reinforcing our values through age-appropriate activities and positive guidance.
Schedule
- Approximately 18–25 hours per week
- Weekday availability, Monday through Friday
- The position will not necessarily require all five days each week
- Specific days and hours can be discussed based on availability
Pay
$18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, loving, and dependable childcare
- Planning age-appropriate activities, reading, crafts, and outdoor play
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Handling children’s laundry and light child-related cleanup
- Maintaining established school, nap, bath, and bedtime routines as needed
- Supporting the family’s Christian traditions and values in an age-appropriate manner
- Transporting the children when required
Ideal Candidate
- Has previous nanny or childcare experience
- Is reliable, patient, responsible, trustworthy, and communicative
- Has a Christian background or familiarity with Christian family life preferred
- Is comfortable working in a home where Christian faith and traditions are important
- Will respect and follow the parents’ approach to childcare, discipline, and family values
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Is willing to complete a background check
- Is CPR and first-aid certified or willing to become certified
- Is a nonsmoker
- Can provide at least two professional or childcare references
