Responsibilities Field Leadership
- Lead and support field foremen and installation crews throughout all phases of construction.
- Provide technical guidance, answer field questions, and help resolve jobsite challenges.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional development across the field staff.
Project Oversight
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from mobilization through completion.
- Monitor project schedules, manpower, productivity, and installation quality.
- Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward.
- Conduct routine jobsite visits to verify work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
Customer & Contractor Relations
- Serve as the primary field contact for customers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
- Maintain clear communication regarding project status, scheduling, and field activities.
- Address questions and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
Office Coordination
- Provide regular project updates to office leadership.
- Coordinate scheduling, manpower requirements, materials, and equipment with internal departments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, field reports, inspections, and change orders.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all installations comply with NFPA standards, local codes, OSHA regulations, and company quality standards.
- Perform quality control inspections and correct deficiencies before project completion.
- Reinforce company safety policies and promote a safe work environment on every jobsite.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation.
- Proven leadership experience managing field personnel.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, fire sprinkler systems, OSHA regulations, and construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and fire protection drawings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fire Sprinkler Journeyman license
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with project management and scheduling software.
