Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, serving, and handling payments
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and equipment cleaning
- Support cash register operations by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all health regulations and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong food preparation skills with understanding of food safety management and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food industry roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
