Gym Cleaner / Facility Cleaning Associate
Club 24 Concept Gyms – Middletown & Wallingford, CT

Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 6 Hours Per Day
Club 24 Concept Gyms is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Gym Cleaner / Facility Cleaning Associate to help maintain our Middletown and Wallingford facilities.
This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, notices the details others may overlook, and can work independently without needing constant supervision.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6 hours per day
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- Work performed between the Middletown and Wallingford Club 24 locations
Pay
$17.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, with a strong focus on:
- Cleaning and sanitizing men's and women's bathrooms
- Cleaning facility floors
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping designated areas
- Following the Club 24 daily cleaning checklist
- Following a scheduled cleaning rotation so floor cleaning is properly spaced throughout the day
- Restocking bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Identifying areas that require additional cleaning attention
- Maintaining Club 24 cleanliness standards
- Communicating cleaning or facility concerns to the General Manager
This position focuses on facility cleanliness. Cleaning fitness equipment is not a primary responsibility of this role.
Club 24 provides all cleaning supplies, products, and equipment necessary to perform the job.
What We're Looking For
Professional cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train someone who demonstrates strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is:
- At least 18 years old
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to follow a structured cleaning checklist and schedule
- Able to manage time effectively without constant supervision
- Comfortable working around members in an active gym environment
- Someone who takes pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the facility
Because this position works between two Club 24 locations, dependable transportation is important.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Lift and carry approximately 25–40 lbs.
- Safely use ladders or step ladders when necessary
- Push and operate cleaning equipment

Reporting Structure
The Gym Cleaner / Facility Cleaning Associate will report directly to the General Manager of the facility and will be responsible for completing the required cleaning checklist each day.
