We are currently seeking an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team at Ponte Vedra Orthodontics. If you have a passion for patient care, a strong background in orthodontics, and have a flexible schedule, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures and patient consultations.
- Take digital x-rays, impressions, and photos as needed.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records and update treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral care and post-treatment instructions.
- Provide excellent patient care and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant (3+ years).
- Certification or relevant qualifications (X-ray certification preferred).
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and patient care protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently within a team.
- Available to work specific hours (2 weekends per month and 6-8 weekdays per month - rotating).
