Front Office Coordinator - Team Assistant
Lihn Law Group | Peoria, Arizona
Full-time and onsite | Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. | Closed Fridays
$20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Someone Is Going to Love This Job
At Lihn Law Group, clients often reach out during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives.
They may be worried about an aging parent, grieving the loss of someone they love, confronting a new diagnosis, or trying to understand a legal process they never expected to face.
The first person who answers the phone or welcomes them into our office can shape their entire experience.
That is why this position matters.
We are looking for a Team Assistant who will take ownership of our front office and help create an environment where clients feel welcomed, teammates feel supported, and important details do not fall through the cracks.
The right person will be warm, organized, dependable, and genuinely energized by helping people and keeping things running smoothly.
About the Position
This is a front-office client experience and administrative support role.
You will often be the first voice our clients hear and the first person they meet. You will help set the tone for their relationship with our firm.
Front-office ownership is a central part of the position. The work includes answering phones, welcoming visitors, managing appointments, preparing meeting spaces, handling incoming information, and helping the office remain organized and responsive throughout the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and directing incoming calls with warmth and professionalism
- Welcoming clients, families, professional partners, and other visitors
- Maintaining the reception area and preparing conference rooms for meetings
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Accurately documenting messages and ensuring they reach the right person
- Coordinating incoming prospective-client inquiries with the appropriate team member
- Handling mail, deliveries, scanning, copying, filing, and routine correspondence
- Opening and updating electronic and physical files
- Assisting with administrative projects and supporting the team as needed
- Noticing what needs attention and taking ownership of getting it handled
This is an active role with frequent interaction, shifting priorities, and regular interruptions. It is best suited for someone who enjoys being helpful, visible, and engaged throughout the workday.
It will not be the right fit for someone seeking quiet, uninterrupted back-office work or someone who would prefer to avoid telephone and in-person interaction.
About Lihn Law Group
Lihn Law Group is an elder law, estate planning, probate, and life care planning law firm serving individuals and families throughout the Valley.
We combine sophisticated legal work with compassion, responsiveness, and practical support. We care deeply about the quality of our work and about how people feel while receiving our help.
We were recently recognized by Az Business Magazine as one of the 100 Best Places to Work and Live in Arizona for 2026 and ranked by Ranking Arizona among the Top 5 law firms for workplace culture.
We are proud of those recognitions because they reflect the culture our team has built together: supportive, collaborative, purposeful, and human.
We work hard. We hold ourselves to high standards. We help one another. We celebrate successes. We invest in our community. And while we take our work seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously.
We also believe that life outside the office matters.
That is why we work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and are closed every Friday.
Three-day weekends are built into our schedule every week.
About You
You are someone people naturally rely on.
You are warm without being overly casual, professional without being stiff, and organized without needing every step mapped out for you.
You communicate clearly. You remember details. You follow through. You notice when something needs attention and take initiative rather than assuming someone else will handle it.
You can speak patiently with someone who is confused, emotional, or overwhelmed. You can manage a ringing phone, an arriving client, a calendar change, and a teammate’s question without losing your composure or your sense of humor.
You will likely thrive here if you:
- Enjoy helping people by phone and in person
- Communicate professionally in both spoken and written English
- Stay calm and kind while managing frequent interruptions
- Take pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Are dependable, punctual, and prepared
- Are receptive to feedback and committed to continued growth
- Learn new technology and office systems comfortably
- Take ownership of problems and help move them toward resolution
- Care about contributing to a strong team culture
Previous experience in a professional office, administrative, hospitality, medical, legal, or client-service role is helpful.
Legal experience is welcome but is not required. We can teach our systems and processes. Warmth, sound judgment, reliability, and genuine ownership are harder to teach.
Growth and Opportunity
This role can be a meaningful starting point for someone who wants to grow.
Two members of our current paralegal team began in front-office positions, and other team members have earned expanded responsibilities by demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and reliability. This position is available because the team member who previously held it was promoted.
We do not promise advancement on a fixed timetable. We do promise to notice strong work, invest in people who want to learn, and create opportunities when performance and business needs align.
Compensation and Benefits
Lihn Law Group offers:
- $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on directly relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and overall qualifications
- A full-time, four-day workweek with the office closed every Friday
- Paid holidays and paid time off
- Health, dental, and life insurance
- Retirement plan with profit sharing
- Complimentary estate planning
- Paid philanthropy days
- Opportunities to direct firm charitable contributions to eligible nonprofits with an Arizona impact
- Professional development and opportunities for growth
- Team events and celebrations
- Free parking
- A workplace where your contribution will be noticed and valued
