Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating precision components and assemblies using advanced machining equipment and technical skills. Duties
- Operate CNC machines such as Plasma Table, Laser, Press Brakes, Band Saw and Shears
- Program CNC machines using CAM software and perform CNC programming adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and CAD models to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling components efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machining tools and equipment.
- Support assembly processes by fabricating components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools to complete tasks.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery and fabrication shop equipment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading skills.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling setup, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during fabrication tasks.
- Competence in operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
