Territory Sales Representative
About the Role
We are a growing tire company expanding our presence in the U.S. market. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven sales professional to help develop new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships within the assigned territory. This position is an outside sales/business development role. It is not a retail or in-store sales position.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening new accounts, and growing market share with dealerships, tire retailers, repair shops, fleets, wholesalers, and other commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, tire retailers, repair shops, fleets, wholesalers, and other commercial customers.
- Prospect, visit, and convert new customers into active accounts.
- Present company products and promote our value proposition.
- Achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Gather market intelligence, including competitor pricing, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous experience in outside tire sales, business development, or account management.
- Tire, automotive or commercial vehicle industry experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Fluent English.
Preferred
- Existing relationships with dealerships, tire retailers, repair shops, commercial fleets, or wholesalers.
- Experience representing a tire manufacturer, distributor, or wholesale supplier.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts rather than only managing existing customers.
- Knowledge of the CA tire market is highly preferred.
