Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read CAD drawings. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on aluminum
- Read and interpret CAD drawings to execute precise fabrication tasks
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for assembly and fabrication processes
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the worksite
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Proven manufacturing experience with a focus on welding and fabrication
- Proficient in MIG welding, FCAW, and other welding techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to welding, and operating heavy machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
