Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all patrons receive outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Looking for someone available and looking for someone long-term for our busy season in the fall.
We are closed Sunday Monday open from 11:30 to 8:30 Tuesday through Saturday. Please apply if interested.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle cash transactions using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and transactions.
- Familiarity with fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus.
- Experience in catering services can be beneficial for event-based operations.
- A passion for brewing or knowledge of beverages can enhance guest experiences in beverage service.
