As a dental hygienist in our office, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Conducting periodontal assessments and charting
- Taking dental X-rays
- Providing oral hygiene education and individual recommendations to patients
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhering to all infection control and sterilization protocols
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Pennsylvania state dental hygiene license
- Proficiency in performing dental cleanings and taking X-rays
- Strong knowledge of oral health conditions and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team
