Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical assisting.
Weekdays 10am-6pm, Fridays 10am-4pm, Sundays 10am-3pm
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform basic clinical procedures including phlebotomy, taking strep cultures, flu and COVID tests , vital signs and handling lab specimens.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately, documenting patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital environments.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation.
