Job Title:Cook/Food Prep/ Team Member Location: Southern Style BBQ and Chicken
Job Summary: Southern Style BBQ and Chicken is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Cook/Food Prep /Team Member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items, including portioning, cooking, and assembling orders for front of house and catering orders.
- Pulling pork, trimming chicken.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.
- Always follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cook or food prep role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 16 years old (or local age requirement for employment).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
