Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate a van to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
Drivers that also owner of a cargo van might have priority on this process .
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) as part of the delivery process.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment or moving industry is desirable but not mandatory.
