Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Woman-only Gym Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our specialized fitness facility, EveFit. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming, motivating environment tailored to women’s health and wellness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles. As the face of the gym, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences, manage staff effectively, and uphold the highest standards of safety and service.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day gym operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise and motivate staff, including trainers, receptionists, and maintenance personnel, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere
- Oversee shift management, scheduling staff coverage during peak hours and special events
- Coordinate and execute engaging wellness events and community programs to attract new members and retain current clients
- Maintain operational standards by managing equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and facility safety checks
- Handle guest services with professionalism, addressing member inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly
- Prepare detailed reports on gym performance, membership trends, incident logs, and operational metrics for management review
- Manage budgets effectively, including cash handling, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote the gym’s offerings and upcoming events
- Ensure compliance with health regulations by maintaining first aid readiness through CPR certification and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing fitness facilities or event venues with a focus on women’s health or wellness programs
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or managerial experience in hospitality or resort environments
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management and customer service excellence
- Experience in operational management including budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation
- Knowledge of health & safety standards; CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory upon hire
- Ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction
