We are looking for a cook to work in a fast casual cafe. This role is intended for someone who works well without heavy supervision, and one that can take control of the kitchen and successfully run day to day operations. We are looking for someone with great communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include following recipes and presentation specifications, prepping necessary food for the week, taking inventories, placing accurate orders while maintaining suggested weekly pars, and ensuring policies and procedures are carried out daily such as; unpacking deliveries, properly putting away and rotating all products, following general kitchen cleanliness and organization.
In order to be successful in this role, you should possess skills in time management, have the ability to multi-task whenever necessary, be detail oriented, and carry out tasks independently without heavy direction.
- Previous work experience as a line cook, or prep cook necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
Must have up to date food handlers card to present upon hire.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
