American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Savannah, GA, requiring 2+ years of critical care and Angio/IR experience at a Level I Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.

Work in an Angiography/IR unit located in the Heart and Vascular Tower of a 612-bed acute care hospital

3 Angiography Labs consisting of 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 Hybrid OR
-
High-acuity patient population including stroke, trauma, and critical care cases
-
1:1 patient ratio with team staffing of 2 techs and 2 RNs per room (ideal staffing)
-
Procedures include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE management, Stroke intervention, and Trauma
-
Equipment includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream

EMR: Epic Cupid
-
4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call requirements

No floating requirement
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Angio/IR, with active experience within the last 6 months

ICU or ER experience required

Critical care GTT management skills required
-
Experience with stroke and trauma care required

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

ARRT/RTR or RCIS certification required

License required if applicable

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Facility is a Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center — the only such center in the region

Certified Stroke Center designation recognized by The Joint Commission

Navy blue and black scrubs required for techs

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
