American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring a PA or compact RN license and prior ER experience.

Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
-
40-bed unit treating all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric cases
-
Patient ratio of 1:6
-
Uses EPIC EHR system
-
Varied shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
-
Weekend hours required on an every-other-weekend basis
-
No on-call requirements
-
No floating requirements
-
13-week assignment
-
Active PA or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; CEN preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
-
Trauma and critical care experience preferred
-
Basic nursing skills required
-
Team player personality fit preferred
-
PA-specific clearances required prior to start, including Child Abuse History Clearance, DHS Fingerprinting, FBI/Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PATCH PA State Police Clearance

Drug screen completed within 90 days accepted

MMR immunization required with no declinations accepted

Provide emergency nursing care across a full range of patient populations and acuities

Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Any scrub color is acceptable for dress code

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
