Seeking Escrow Officer
Escrow Officer to manage residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing. This role serves as a central point of contact for clients, ensuring all escrow processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with California regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management
- Manage escrow files from opening to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met
- Review purchase agreements, lender instructions, and title commitments for accuracy
- Prepare escrow instructions, closing statements, and final settlement documents
- Coordinate signings and ensure proper execution of all closing paperwork
- Record and finalize documents with the appropriate county offices
Escrow Officers will be managing the complete closing transaction, preparing, reviewing, and disbursing funds and documents.
Customer Service & Communication
Serve as the primary contact for buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents
- Respond to inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Provide updates on transaction status and resolve issues that may arise
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills .
Document & Compliance Oversight
- Review title reports for liens, judgments, and outstanding issues
- Obtain payoff demands, tax information, and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with escrow instructions, lender requirements, and state regulations
- Verify all funds and documents are correct prior to closing
Financial & Closing Duties
- Balance escrow accounts and confirm all funds are received and accurate
- Disburse funds for loan payoffs, taxes, commissions, and fees
- Prepare closing packages and final statements for all parties
- Assist with post-closing activities, including recording and file completion
Duties include, holding and disbursing funds and ensuring proper financial settlement of transactions.
Pay: $31.25 - $33.65 per hour
