Who we are
212 Fitness is a family-owned functional-strength studio in the heart of Millcreek. Our mission is to help everyday adults move, feel and live better every day. We're looking for an engaging coach to lead several weekly group classes while gradually building a personal-training schedule.
What you'll do
- Coach 10–20 sessions/week (mix of group strength classes, small group, and 1-on-1 personal training)
- Lead group classes using 212's existing programming, with opportunities to contribute to programming and develop your own training cycles
- Design and deliver 1-on-1 programs for your personal-training clients—we help you build your PT schedule
- Coach with energy and provide clear instruction every session
- Track member progress, celebrate wins and adjust plans as needed
- Keep the gym floor professional, safe and spotless
What you bring
- Outgoing, caring attitude
- NSCA, ACSM, NASM or ACE certification, or a degree in Exercise Science
- Current CPR/AED
- Eagerness to keep learning and grow as a coach
Nice-to-have
- Experience with functional strength tools (sleds, kettlebells, barbells)
- Experience coaching group classes
- Experience conducting personal training sessions
- Background in behavior change or nutrition coaching

- Competitive pay: $28–$70 per session*
- Most coaches start part-time and grow toward full-time (25–30 floor hours/week) as their PT client list builds

Schedule
Our preferred schedule for group training coverage:
- Early morning Monday
- Evening Tuesday
- Evening Wednesday
- Late morning Thursday
- Early morning Friday
- 1 Friday evening and Saturday morning per month
This is our ideal fit, but we have some flexibility for the right candidate—if your availability is close but not exact, we still want to hear from you.
On top of that, we're looking for flex availability mid-days and on one additional morning and one additional evening per week to take on personal training clients.
