Now Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Cascadia of Boise is looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team of skilled nursing professionals!
Essential Functions:
· Assist nursing home residents with healthcare needs under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
· Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs and resolve issues within scope of work.
· Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s):
o Dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
o Turning and positioning in bed, transitioning to/from wheelchair
o Assisting therapy with range of motion and movement exercises
· Record and chart vital measurements including food/fluid intake and output.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology,
and medical terminology
· Knowledge of relevant nursing care
· Friendly and professional bedside manner
· Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
· Effective oral and written communication skills
Qualifications:
· Current Idaho CNA Certification
· Current CPR Certification
· Six months experience in a
long-term care setting preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
