Dependable Air is a small, family-owned residential HVAC company with more than 20 years of industry experience. We are growing and looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our long-term team.
We do not operate like the large, high-pressure HVAC companies.
Our full-time service technicians typically:
- Run only 3–5 calls per day
- Work a flexible schedule of 3–5 days per week
- Earn $70,000+ annually
- Service residential HVAC systems only
- Have the time to thoroughly diagnose and properly repair equipment
- Are trusted to close their own system replacements when necessary
This is not a high-pressure, sales-driven position. We want technicians who take pride in identifying the actual problem, clearly communicating with the homeowner, and recommending repairs or replacement based on the equipment’s true needs.
You will not be expected to rush through calls or turn your replacement opportunities over to a separate “closer.” When a system genuinely needs to be replaced, you have the freedom to guide your customer through the process yourself.
What You Will Not Be Doing
- Running 15+ calls per day
- Working on commercial equipment
- Servicing chillers or refrigeration systems
- Using aggressive sales tactics
- Being pressured to sell unnecessary repairs or replacements
