Responsibilities
- Develop detailed layout designs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, incorporating lighting design and interior aesthetics to meet client specifications.
- Conduct product demos and showcase lighting solutions to clients, highlighting features that enhance their spaces.
- Engage in outside sales efforts by identifying new opportunities, upselling premium design services, and expanding client relationships through strategic account management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering very good solutions, and maintaining ongoing communication throughout projects.
- Assist in merchandising and marketing initiatives by creating appealing visual displays that attract retail customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SketchUp), with a strong understanding of lighting sales and high-end sales techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of retail sales processes including merchandising, stocking, product demos, and POS systems.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and budgeting purposes.
