The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe, clean, and well-maintained condition of apartment units and common areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Respond promptly to service requests and work orders from tenants and management.
- Turn over and prepare vacant units for new tenants (painting, cleaning, basic repairs).
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal, snow removal, and landscaping as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist with emergency maintenance calls after hours as needed (on-call rotation).
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment service logs.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and management.
