Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial electrical projects. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will help ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant electrical codes and standards.
Duties
- Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards..
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry and other trades on construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document all work performed.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial settings is highly preferred; hands-on construction site experience is Required.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Pay: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
