Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support procurement workflows with a multinational client in the food & agribusiness sector. The role is directly connected to the raw material procurement process for North America Human Nutrition manufacturing sites, focusing on executing supplier-related workflows — following up with suppliers, collecting documentation, updating systems, and managing tasks until completion.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute and close procurement workflows in client systems (e.g., new vendor setup, raw material approvals, inactivation, formula updates, supplier/distributor changes).
· Follow up with suppliers to collect required documentation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely approvals.
· Upload, organize, and maintain vendor and ingredient documentation in designated databases (e.g., SharePoint, TraceGains, ERP).
· Track workflow status and pending actions, escalating issues to client stakeholders when deadlines are at risk.
· Coordinate workflow activities with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Quality, PD&A, Manufacturing, Sales) to ensure data accuracy and timely approvals.
· Support supplier-facing processes such as sample requests, forecasts, and supplier scorecards.
· Assist in sourcing-related initiatives, such as supplier quotations, new product development projects, and risk management activities.
· Maintain accurate logs of all supplier requests, submissions, approvals, and escalations to support compliance and governance.
· Contribute to process improvement by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting ways to streamline workflow timelines.
· Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and traceability of all supplier and procurement records.
· Perform other duties as assigned under client direction.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Experience in procurement operations, supplier communication, or documentation management.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SharePoint, ERP systems, or Power BI is a plus.
· Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, client-driven environment.
· Results-oriented, deadline-driven, and resilient in managing repetitive workflows.
· Learning agility and flexibility to adapt to change.
· Comfortable with prolonged computer use and frequent phone/email interaction.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
