Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and industry standards
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform detailed floor care to ensure a spotless environment
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort
- Follow hotel emergency procedures and maintain safety protocols during all cleaning activities
- Operate janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality setting
- Knowledge of floor cleaning, sanitation practices, and chemical handling procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly without difficulty
- Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior hospitality or industrial cleaning experience preferred

Pay: $22.45 - $27.04 per hour
