CALL CENTER ENVIROMENT Are you an energetic, customer-focused professional with call center or retail experience? Do you love helping people and thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment? If you’re confident on the phone, organized under pressure, and excited to learn about cannabis products — we want to meet you!
This is a call center-based role within our cannabis delivery operation. You’ll be the friendly voice our customers interact with — helping them place orders, answering questions, and ensuring they have a great experience from start to finish.
Cannabis industry experience is NOT required. We welcome applicants from outside the industry with transferable skills in retail, dispatch, hospitality, or high-volume customer service.
Duties
- Answer inbound phone calls, text messages, and online orders quickly and professionally
- Provide outstanding customer service and upsell appropriate product recommendations
- Verify customer eligibility and ensure compliance with California regulations
- Accurately process orders using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system and take clear notes
- Pack and prepare customer orders for delivery
- Collaborate with drivers to troubleshoot issues and support route efficiency
- Monitor and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS routing tools
- Balance cash and inventory, ensuring accurate records through the POS
- Ask for customer feedback and work to resolve any service concerns
- Maintain organized logs and reports for internal tracking
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in dispatch, call center, or high-volume customer service
- Experience with POS systems (retail, restaurant, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines, texts, and online orders simultaneously
- Strong communication skills — friendly, conversational, and professional
- A knack for upselling and tailoring suggestions to customer preferences
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation tools like Google Maps or Waze
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management
- Cash handling experience and comfort balancing transactions
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and high energy
- Willing to learn about cannabis products and compliance (we’ll train you!)
- Must be 21+ years of age (per California State Cannabis Law)
- Must be willing and able to pass a LIVE SCAN criminal background check
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of South Riverside/North San Diego County
- Prior experience with cannabis POS or GPS dispatch software
- Bilingual (especially English/Spanish)
- Experience working in a regulated industry
