Job Title: Non-CDL Driver

Resource Management Systems, Inc. (RMS) is seeking dependable drivers to provide public transportation to the local community. This role supports safe and efficient passenger transport and does not require a CDL (Commercial Drivers License)vehicle assignment.
**This position is a safety sensitive position and will require the ability to pass DOT required screenings**
**Certain positions are subject to insurance and regulatory requirements, including minimum age criteria**

Safely operate company vehicles for passenger transport

Transport clients to and from scheduled appointments

Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles (if applicable)

Operate wheelchair lifts and ensure passenger safety

Conduct vehicle inspections as outlined in company policy

Maintain accurate trip and mileage records
-
Communicate with dispatch and management as needed

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professionalism

Valid Driver’s License

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening (DOT)

Ability to pass criminal background check
-
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical (DOT)

Must be at least 21 years of age (to comply with insurance requirements)

Experience in transportation, delivery, or customer service (preferred but not required)

Experience assisting passengers with mobility needs

CPR/First Aid Certification

Ability to sit for extended periods
-
Ability to assist passengers and lift up to 50 lbs.

Frequent entering and exiting of vehicles
-
Exposure to outdoor conditions

Completion of onboarding and training requirements prior to assignment

Compliance with RMS policies and uniform standards

Full time is 30 hours or more/week

Part time is 20 hours/week

Routes may vary based on operational needs. Some routes are set daily routes, while others are demand-response services and schedules may change depending on daily service needs.

Typical workdays range from 8–10 hours per day.
Compensation:

Non-CDL Drivers: $17.00 per hour

Additional Compensation & Incentive Information:

RMS will be offering a 3% cost-of-living increase in July (final determination pending).

Employees may qualify for participation in the Safety Incentive Program (SIP).
Employees may qualify for a total incentive opportunity of up to 8% annually through the Safety Incentive Program (SIP).

The total available award includes both safety performance incentives and the year-end performance review incentive combined.

Monthly incentive availability is calculated based on the employee’s annualized wages at the available 8%:
2080 annual hours × hourly rate ÷ 12 months. -
Eligibility and payout are based on compliance with safety standards, performance expectations, and program guidelines.
Additionally, employees may qualify for a Year-End Christmas Bonus (amount to be determined).
